Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the details you choose to provide, which we use to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps diagnose faults and show which resources are useful. Cookies or similar tools may also support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How We Use Information
We process this limited information to run the site, address technical problems, understand traffic, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor assemble individual browsing profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government portals, Orange County and California offices, library collections, and outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that destination's privacy policy. The same rule applies to sponsored results supplied by a third party.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and technical vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Safeguarding Information
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are kept only as long as needed for the uses stated here. Because visitors do not create accounts, we hold no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if a person under 18 submitted such information so it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Rights
Applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held by a website. California's Delete Act includes the data-broker deletion mechanism in Civil Code section 1798.99.86(c), with processing duties that begin August 1, 2026. That program concerns registered data brokers, not deletion of official records. Use the Contact page to request a search of our mailbox and server logs. Records held by San Clemente, Orange County, or California remain under the control and retention rules of their custodian offices.
